Starting Points 3 emphasizes that, in a single classroom or child care setting, there are always children at many different stages of language development who need a variety of supports. This course teaches how to boost language and literacy skills for all children, including English Language Learners. Video scenes vividly show how children acquire both their first and second languages and what to expect at each stage of language acquisition.
