This website has been created by Dr. Craig Warren Smith. He has several ideas and strategies on how to tackle and reduce the Digital Divide in today’s digital world. The author has a vivid opinion regarding this issue, he says: “What's the biggest challenge of the current century? … It’s not stopping the plague. Not tackling world poverty. Nor even reducing global warming. It is extending digital technology successfully to the “next ten percent” of citizens and to the governments that serve them.”

Since Dr. Smith is one of the contributors to the MERLOT, I need to add the other two websites that he has:  www.spiritualcapital.org which helps the technology sector enhance the spirituality of mass consumers, and www.craigwarrensmith.com through which he offers consulting services.
