Description:

These interactive & informative modules in multimedia format provide an excellent introduction to instructional design, in particular, and eLearning in general. They are replete with concrete & practical examples. They also happen to summarize the main points covered in each chapter of The Power of eLearning: The Essential Guide for Teaching in the Digital Age  which was written by the author.  The modules are valuable faculty development lessons in their own right. Most importantly they focus first on the fundamentals of teaching and learning—that is, on pedagogical principles—rather than on eLearning technology.  For a balanced review of the book see http://www.educause.edu/apps/eq/eqm06/eqm06313.asp?bhcp=1
