Web-based materials for the secondary school classroom developed as a set of interrelated modules that include a variety of tools and representations to help students learn science as they explore the world of information technology and its impact on modern society. Modules are built as a sequence of explorations contained within the web environment, which allow students to manipulate simulation tools to explore different phenomena (manipulable environment). All modules target central scientific concepts and ideas identified in the National Science Education Standards and the Benchmarks for Science Literacy.
