This site is mostly for middle and high school students as far as the vocabulary goes. It may be a little difficult for primary students to comprehend the vocabulary in this activity. What I think the primary students can do is use the pictures of the rocks to identify and classify the rocks instead of doing the testing. Great pictures though. I enjoyed using the site.

Great for drills on identifying minerals. The language may be a little difficult for jr. high school children and some high school students may have some difficulty with the geometric names.

I love the mineral testing. It's a great way for students to test themselves at home when they don't necessarily have access to all kinds of minerals. Good study tool for mineral identification!
