Description:
The Mohawk Valley Fossils web site contains detailed descriptions of the geological history and fossils of the Mohawk River Valley of Central New York State (USA). In addition, it includes images showing the distribution of different fossils in the rocks of the area. The site does NOT contain exercises related to the information. Instructors must provide their own questions, depending on the way in which they wish to apply the information. The site has been adapted for use by both colleges and secondary education, in the US and around the world.
