Sleuthing the Layered Text: Investigating Coding provides novice researchers with a venue for learning about and practicing qualitative analysis through the techniques of open and focused coding. Learners are guided by three sleuths who demonstrate different practical methods of coding as they code the same interview transcript according to their own research interests.
