This learning object has been developed to be delivered in a blended learning environment. That is, the e-learning content, or e-tivities, are used to extend and enhance the traditional classroom/lecture hall/studio method of teaching.
In this case, e-tivities have been developed to sit alongside a newsroom based journalism course where students attend lectures, or 'newsroom activities', then afterward participate in on-line e-tivities, discussing their conclusions in a forum.
