This is a series of lectures on music by renowned conductor Daniel Barenboim.  "The Reith Lectures were inaugurated in 1948 by the BBC to mark the historic contribution made to public service broadcasting by Sir John (later Lord) Reith, the corporation's first director-general."  The topics of these lectures are: 1) In the Beginning was Sound, 2) the Neglected Sense, 3) the Magic of Music, 4) Meeting in Music, 5) the Power of Music
