This site describes the general process by which information about a topic is generated and published. A short Flash movie sets out a timeline to help illustrate how information based on current events is disseminated. The bulk of the site's content is in a subsection that follows the timeline page. This "sources model" consists of further background, examples, and resources related to each type of information source displayed on the timeline. Learners can take a five-question quiz on the material presented and receive immediate feedback on the answers they choose.
