This site presents an overview of the initial steps of researching material for a writing assignment. The importance of constructing the research foundation and understanding the assignment prior to retrieving information is emphasized. The site comprises approximately twenty pages, through which students can move by clicking right or left arrows at the bottom of each page. Two questions are posed toward the end of the presentation, asking the user to choose the best way to phrase a research question from a pair of examples.
