| Description: |
The module gives a self-contained introduction to one dimensional electrophoresis gels and how the gel images can be transformed to numerical values which can be studied using regression models. Excel or Calc OpenOffice are used for computations; all steps are provided. Student will learn how to select the best fitting model. Students are given unknown gels and create a presentation of their results. No pre-requisite knowledge assumed.
