This website provides a easy to navigate training for properly assessing for pressure ulcers. Quailty improvement is a key factor in a heathcare facility. Hospital acquired pressure ulcers are one of the contirbuting factors to increase health cost. This module prepares individuals to prperly assess patients from head-to-toe. This modules go through the proper methods of staging a pressure ulcer and properly determining a pressure ulcer from other ulcers. There are four modules. Each module has a test at the end. The questions allow individuals to use their critical thinking skills and to apply the knowledge used. At the completion of the course, there is a form to print out confirming completeion. The module also provides information to properly compare the hospital acquired pressure ulcers to community aquired.
