Description:

This site hosts an entertaining and educational stop-action video of the principle steps in plant tissue culture. The video includes sterilization of host seeds and germination followed by dissection of the cotyledon and hypocotyl for use in tissue culture. The video outlines basic preparation of the culture medium and the growth of the "callus" of undifferentiated cells for 3 weeks.
