Description:

The website "Vivre en Aquitaine" is designed for learners of French at levels A2, B1 and B2 of the European Framework of Reference. If you are studying French, start with the « Itineraires » to visit the Aquitaine region whilst practising your French (10 webquests)!

Our itinerary starts at Bordeaux, and continues with a visit to the Médoc and the Gironde estuary, then moves on to the areas of Entre-deux-mers and Saint-Emilion and the home towns of three great French writers in the Gironde. We will then visit the Périgord, the Agen region, the country houses of Gascogne, Pau and the Pyrenees, the Basque country, and we will end up in Dax and the Atlantic coast. At each stage, you will have the chance to complete three activities: - a quest: you will have to undertake a mission, where a series of questions will point you to the answer; - a meeting: a video with some associated comprehension activities; - one or more situations : a document for you to react to which will make you practice your French; In each activity, we specify the level it is for, following the European Framework of Reference. In order to find activities for your level, look up A2, B1 or B2 in the search field.
