This is a lab that demonstrates how different materials are affected by earthquakes along with explaining how earthquakes work. During this lab, toy cars are place on different materials and shaken which will results in some of the cars submerging into the material.  In order to do this lab you must have an earthquake machine or some type of earthquake simulator.  It is suggested that notes or some type of instruction to introduce the material is done before hand.
