Making the Case for Non-Traditional Teaching Methods

Logo for Making the Case for Non-Traditional Teaching Methods
This parody of the classic movie Twelve Angry Men depicts a group of teachers meeting to decide whether to give tenure to a young science teacher who uses non-traditional teaching methods. The majority of the teachers at the meeting believe that only the methods that theyve been using for the last 25 years are effective but are open to being convinced otherwise.Part 2 is available here.

the video is informative and the use of a workplace issue or problem as the focal point of the discussion makes it relevant and relatable

Technical Remarks:

the  use of the black and white video to symbolize the traditional teaching mindset is effective; the performance of the cast, however, lacks impact - their acting is less convincing  and the delivery of lines sounds very scripted
