This is a QR code. A QR Code is a 2-dimensional barcode, which has encoded in it a URL (web address), text, or other information. It can be read by a QR code scanner, including QR scanner smartphone apps. Once you have an app installed on your smartphone, open the app and hold your phones camera over a QR code to read it. Most QR codes youll come across have a URL encoded, so chances are when you read the QR code it will take you to a web page.

This is a PowerPoint Presentation that is designed to introduce students to the steps in a scientific investigation. On the last slide students are given a link to a web site where they may choose a science lab to practice these skills.
Five Senses, Scientific Investigation, Scientific Inquiry, Scientist
This powerpoint would work best for an older audience (upper elementary-middle school). I like the incorporation of a video from youtube and a rap song to help explain the scientific process and reach different learning styles. The overall design of the StAIR was very appealing and easy to use.
This StAIR can only be accessed if you are able to login to Netfiles. The link needs to be changed.
