Description:

NAT is very important in the current Internet architecture, understanding its advantages and the way it functions is vital to comprehend the existing structure of the Internet. It was one of the main solutions that helped expanding the life of IPv4 while other approaches were being engineered. NAT has evolved significantly during the years and many argue that it will maintain its importance even after the implementation of IPv6 due to its significance in preserving the network`s security as well as its administrative value. Searching the Internet and the well-known educational resources, we could not find any source that could gather all the required information and wrap it in an educational manner. Thus, we found that building this resource is a good important addition to the current resources.
