Description:

This course provides an introduction to the training and development profession from a global perspective. Topics include an overview of the increasingly global nature of work and such important topics as culture, values and teamwork. Critical issues such as attracting employees, global selection, and on-boarding practices will be addressed. Relevant issues to maximizing employee effectiveness, including training for intercultural competence, employee engagement, work-family balance and the expatriate experience will be considered.
