Dissection and demonstration of Basal Ganglia in formalinized human brain specimen. Dissection performed and commentary given by Dr Sanjoy Sanyal, Dean of Medical Sciences and Professor of Neuroscience in American International Medical University, St. Lucia, Caribbean. It was performed in the Neuroscience Lab of Medical University of the Americas (MUA), Nevis, in June 2011 as an aid to teaching Neuroscience to Med 3 students who are preparing for USMLE Step 1. Camera credit goes to Sonja Langley (former Med 3 student at MUA) and video editing credit goes to Chris Robinson (former Med 4 student at MUA).
