Nonprofits and academics are recognizing volunteer management as an important part of managing the nonprofit. This tool is a simple tool that can be used to calculate the value of volunteer work.  It will also give volunteer managers an idea of how they can expand the value by going to the Bureau of Labor Statistics for more specific information by the type of work, the occupation, that the volunteer is providing
