Description:

Reading tutorial demonstrating how to make a visual study tool called a hierarchy in order to check comprehension of a reading passage. The hierarchy includes the topic, topic sentence and the major supporting details. These are arranged top to bottom in boxes with the most general information at the top and the most detailed at the bottom. This is also sometimes called a graphic organizer. This is a study reading technique for after reading. It helps the brain absorb the information for future use.
