This is a StAIR I created for my CEP811 class at MSU. The StAIR is a review of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs for my high school English students. It reviews the four parts of speech and gives students a chance to practice. At the end of each section it links to a Quia quiz. At the end of the entire StAIR it links to a quia quiz that encompasses all four parts of speech.

This is a great resource to reivew the parts of speech. This is a simple concept, but many students struggle with this. I liked how you had questions, examples, tricks, a review and a quiz after each different part of speech. I like how you indicated which part of speech the incorrect answer was for the students, reinforcing the lesson. I like how you broke down the types of verbs because the students may not know the difference. I thought it was great how you differentiated and the students were able to navegate through the show, reviewing materials if they needed to or skipping materials.  I thought it was a good idea how you went through and had a quiz for adjectives vs adverbs because many students struggle to know the difference. I thought it was great how you had the students take the quiz to hand in to you so you could better evaluate their knowledge.

This pps opened easily and was very navegable.

This was a great resource for quickly reviewing the parts of speech. As an English teacher I can see myself using this to help students who struggle with sentence structure and need a quick review on the various parts of speech.  Not only did it provide very easy to remember definitions through direct instructions, but it also provided modeled for students how to determine which part of speech they were looking at.  Finally, it provided quick feedback and allowed students to pace their own learning.  Overall, this was a great resource.  

Technical Remarks:

This resource was very easy to use and download.  I liked that it was linked to a dropbox so that I could easily download it.
