"StoryWalk®, an exciting initiative that combines a children’s story with a popular walking route, was developed in September, 2007 by Anne Ferguson, a volunteer with the Coalition.  Ferguson selects a children’s book, separates the pages, laminates them, and attaches them to wooden stakes. The Storywalk project was an interesting idea and worthy of consideration. However, this side is the Vermont Bicycle and Pedestrian Coalition and does not give than much information on the Storywalk Project.

This is a great and an inexpensive way to help young children develop a love for reading and books, while also encouraging physical acitivty.
