Active Learning with Technology
Assists pre-service educators or teachers in creating learner-centered classrooms supported by technology through modeling that learning environment in the classroom or professional development setting. Uses a variety of commonly available software to support learning, generate new ideas for using these software applications, and understand management strategies for organizing a classroom for integration of technology. Constructivist learning theory serves as the foundation. Each of the 16 modules in the portfolio contains a step-by-step facilitator guide and handouts. 7 videotapes and resource papers support the learning.
