Writing Client Letters is the fifth segment on basic writing skills for tax professionals located at the M. Tx. Writing Web Site developed for the Masters of Taxation program at Georgia State University (see Mirror Site url above). Separate Reports, Client Sophistication, Limitations and General Format are discussed. The same fact pattern used for the Writing Tax Research Memos is used. A sample letter to an unsophisticated tax client and a sample letter to the client's attorney (sophisticated tax client) are provided based on the fact pattern given. Users will need to scroll down the left frame to locate this specific lesson.
