Voorhees College, founded in Denmark, South Carolina in 1897, is a private, career-oriented, liberal arts Historically Black College affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Originally modeled after Tuskegee Institute, Voorhees offers degrees in 12 disciplines to more 600 students living on and around the 300 acre, historic campus.
