This link is a perfect example of diversity and wealth of the French speaking world. Yes, "Francophnie" is about French language but, as we can see with this website, it is also about those many different cultures French speakers from Africa bring to the table. Through the prism of music,French learners and any individual interested in African culture can have a glimpse of the diversity of African music which bring more flavor to the world culture.

Technical Remarks:

The website is easy to use. It is interactive and makes the navigation fun and the user active.

This is the best site I've visited from this collection. The material contained
here is applicable to any age group. I spend at least 1 hour here listening to
the different genres of music as well as the many different artists featured.
I then spent additional time creating music with the program that is included.
What a great way to introduce students not only to french language but to
african culture and music as well.

Technical Remarks:

The site was extremely easy to use with self-explanatory icons to guide the way.
There was a wealth of audio that accompanied each page.
