I always enjoy the BNF's online pedagogical dossiers and this one is no exception. It offers a very comprehensive study of portraiture. By talking about this technique in painting, literature and photography, this site is very versatile and can be used in literature and culture classes alike. It even provides ideas of activities, discussions and research to assign students.
