Description:
A very extensive and most oft referenced site devoted to the promotion of religious tolerance. Presents basic information about scores of religions and various Christian denominations. Also examines numerous controversial issues ("hot topics") related to religion and morality.
The authors of this site try to maintain objectivity in their presentation of material. Although they clearly hold a basically liberal perspective, they DO review both sides of the issues they examine.
A good site for beginning, basic research on virtually any topic related to religion. Each essay at the site offers links to other sites to visit as well as bibliography related to the issue in question.
Some of the "hot topics" deal with sensitive material that may not be suitable for minors and other sensitive souls :-)
