This site is the companion site to the PBS documentary on "The Pill." It includes video clips of people discussing life before and after introduction of the pill, a timeline of birth control methods, a transcript of the documentary film, a small collection of primary documents, sketches of important events and people, a video showing how the pill works, a bibliography, links to related web sites, and a teacher's guide. The teacher's guide divides activities into four discipline areas: geography, history, civics, and society.
