How Big is a...?
This animation allows students to compare the sizes of various cells and organisms such as a human hair, dust mite, ragweed pollen, lymphocyte, red blood cells, baker's yeast,E. coli,Staphylococcus, Ebola virus and Rinovirus all placed on a pinhead. Students can view these organisms at various magnification levels and they can use the scale to measure the individual cells.
