In this animation, the narrator discusses the various organelles contained in a eukaryotic organelle such as the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, chloroplasts, lysosomes, cell membranes, cell walls, and cytoskeletons. Within each section, students will be able to learn about the function of the organelles as well as their locality in an animal or a plant cell. There are also two activities available at the end of the animation. Activity 1 allows students to determine the correct function of each organelle. Activity 2 allows one to decide whether the organelles listed are found in just animal cells, just plant cells or in both.
