AARP was one of the first organizations to recognize aging as a truly worldwide phenomenon that requires global cooperation. Their goal is to facilitate international understanding and dialogue around the global aging agenda. AARP works with governments and opinion leaders by participating in international, social and economic policy debates to formulate global responses addressing the challenges associated with world aging.
