The Virtual Economy is a sophisticated online model of the U. K. economy with extensive supporting materials. It has been jointly developed by the Institute for Fiscal Studies and Biz/ed with the support of a grant from the Nuffield Foundation. The Virtual Economy model has been updated to reflect tax changes in the 2002 budget. Like other bized simulations, there are links to other materials as well as a teachers' guide.
