The Bloch sphere representation of quantum states for a spin 1/2 particlesimulation aims to help students make connections between the Bloch sphere and the mathematical representations of quantum states for a spin ½ particle. The simulation allows students to change the polar and azimuth angles of the point on the Bloch sphere and displays the corresponding quantum state. The simulation includes supporting explanations on complex exponentials.
