The Disease Triangle As A Learning Object

Logo for The Disease Triangle As A Learning Object
The plant disease triangle concept is often used to teach disease development yet is rarely found in a curriculum beyond a plant pathology course. This module presents an interactive learning experience by using the disease triangle through three proficiency levels. Within each of these levels are concepts, a student activity, and an assessment (quiz). Specifically covered are plant disease definitions, vectors, epidemiology of disease, mycotoxins and social impacts on society.
