About

Primary Audience: High School, College General Ed, Graduate School, Professional
Mobile Compatibility: Not specified at this time
Technical Requirements: Web Browser
Linux Survival should work on any Web browser that properly supports Java 1.1. It has been tested on the following browsers:

* Netscape Communicator 4.61, 4.7, and 6.2
* Mozilla 1.0.1
* Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5

Note that the Linux Survival Table of Contents will NOT work properly on Internet Explorer 4.0 because of a bug with IE 4.0's Java implementation.

Operating System
Linux Survival has been tested on the following operating systems:

* Red Hat Linux 5.2, 6.2, and 7.2
* Windows95, Windows 2000
* MacOS
* Solaris 7

If you are using another OS (operating system), then try the Windows version first.

The only difference between the two versions of Linux Survival is the size of the fonts. On Linux, some font sizes look awful, so the Linux version uses different fonts.

Screen Resolution
800x600 or greater is required.
