You Quote It, You Note It! (Vaughan Memorial Library, Acadia University)
This interactive tutorial created by Vaughan Memorial Library at Acadia University (Nova Scotia, Canada) takes about 10 minutes to complete. An interesting feature is that it allows the student to choose an identity by choosing one of four different featured students. The interactive tutorial then takes you through the process of distinguishing paraphrasing from quoting, citing sources, etc. through the eyes of the chosen student. Very well done, easy to understand, focused on relevant content without overloading students with extraneous information, and actually fun! Provides examples of changed passages which require students to make a judgement about the nature of the changes. Easy to read text, good response time, and cute graphics make learning about plagiarism an enjoyable experience, and that is saying a lot!
