In this tutorial on the inverse functions: y = 2 ^ x and y = log base 2 of x, I am using the program Camtasia Studio 2 to visually capture the key strokes of a cursor on a virtual TI 83 + calculator, and to also record the sound of my voice which is explaining the different steps taken. Students can regulate the flow of information in this tutorial as they wish. Furthermore, as suggested by Bill Hemme, my Program Director, I have included a page of Word, next to the calculator, which allows me to display the equations of the functions used, and some of the steps of computations written in Math Type.
