Description:
This site offers some brief information about the artist, tessellations, polyhedra, interesting aspects about the artist’s work, analyzing the “logic of space”, and self reference information. I enjoyed the graphics and examples of Escher’s art. There are fun links that enable you to learn about making your own models of the regular polyhedra, using Platonic Solids Model Paper. I would recommend this site to any student who would like to learn about the relationship of math and art.
