This is a module from the Supersite, "DNA From the Beginning." This learning object shows the uniqueness of DNA sequences in specfic proteins and provides interesting information about how the DNA nucleotide sequence was determined for the protein, insulin. The Supersite contains many other animated tutorials on DNA, genes and heredity. The science behind each concept is explained using animations, an image gallery, video interviews, problems, biographies, and links. There are three sections for the Supersite including Classical Genetics, Molecules of Genetics, and Organization of Genetic Material.
