Virtual Laboratories - Experiments
John Hopkins University has online interactive virtual laboratories available to the public. These virtual laboratories allow people to run labs in a virtual interactive environment ranging from designing trusses for a bridge to simulating drilling for oil. For each virtual laboratory, it goes through a brief description of how to use the lab and also educates you on the topic of the lab. It gives valuable information on each lab attempt. For example: it gives forces on the trusses in a bridge if you are doing the virtual lab for trusses. The site is relatively easy to use and does not require any special programs on your computer to run the labs.
