Merriam-Webster's Atlas is a quick fact-finding site which provides current information on most countries. One will also find all of the countries that are part of the Hispanic world. Its one page for each country includes a map, and general information, e.g, the official name, the population, form of government, gross national product, land use, etc. There is an image of the flag with historical and symbolic references to the colors, motto, and the coat of arms. This site lends itself for creating excellent geography modules. In English.
