I spent about 15 minutes negotiating the site. It is an excellent source of
information about the people and life of ancient Rome into the early Middle
Ages. It provides excellent biographies of Roman individuals, including a long
list of Roman women.

This site is appropriate for advanced high school students and also for college
classes.
