I have directed students who have an interest in learning more about serial killers to this site and they seem to find the material valuable for topic papers.

I spent alot of time throughout the past week or so, just looking and reading. I
found myself becoming more and more curious about serial killers and how they
function. I felt kind of strange after each time I was done reading about a
specific killer and what heinous things he had done. I wasn't sure if I was
interested more in the indivdual or on the act itself. I feel this site is
extremely interesting and recommend it to others.

Technical Remarks:

I'm no computer expert by any means, but yet I found this site very easy to
navigate. There is alot of information, that can be either taught or learned.
This would definitely be an asset for any instructor to use in their class.

I spent about an hour and a half reviewing the materials.

I found the page to be an excellent resource for information on the topic, with
an answer for just about any question you could think of. I'm sure that this
would be a very good educational tool.

I found the information interesting, from the question of whether a serial
killer is insane, to the various links to famous serial killers.

Technical Remarks:

VERY easy to navigate and find the information you're looking for.

This site is very informative to people who would like to learn basic concepts
in the knowledge of serial killers. I spent about an hour and a half reading the
material and looking at cases. The site requires a lot of reading but is worth
it. This software could be used very effectively in an abnormal psychology class
to teach basic principles and case studies. It is straightforward and
relatively easy to understand.

I reviewed this web site for about an hour and a half and found it absolutely
fascinating! I loved the topics discussed, and the serial killers mentioned; the
site includes a complete biography of each individual's life, the crime
committed in detail and the form of punishment that followed. Some sub headings
included the topics of cannibalism and childhood abuse, and describes why these
factors may have played a role in the killings committed. This web site would be
perfect for a paper on the discussion of various serial killers and the
speculations of why each individual chose to commit their crime(s). I personally
feel I learned a lot from reviewing this site and will use it in the future for
any papers on such a topic. The site was easy to navigate through, and the
pictures that accompanied the articles enhanced the subjects being discussed. If
I was a professor teaching a class on such a topic, my students would be
required to log on to Merlot and read through this website; the information
given was educational and it could facilitate the learning of my students.

Technical Remarks:

I found this website very easy to use and navigate through. Everything was
clearly marked and easily accessible.

I began by reviewing the material, and the choices that I had. Once i decided
which topic I was going to read, it took me about an hour to read most of the
material. Had i read everything, it would have taken me, probably another half
hour. The quality of the information that was in the website was very good. It
explained everything thurough and had links if you had other questions. The
students that would be reading this particular article, would benefit highly if
they were doing a research paper of serial killers. There were various names of
serial killers that you could go to and read more information. It was a very
informative site, I'm glad i chose and took the time to read it.

Technical Remarks:

First time users of this website, might have a little difficulty maneuvering
around, but once you get used to it, its a great site. My first time was a
little shakey, but having used the Merlot website previously, it was very easy
to find my way through out the different fields and pages.
