Author: Robert Desharnais, Jeff Bell  CSU Los Angeles
Submitter : maureen kennedy

Description:
Allows students to investigate how differences in population size, age-structure, and age-specific fertility and mortality rates affect human population growth. Default values for seven countries have been incorporated into the program to allow comparisons across different nations. Students can alter the default values to conduct "what if" experiments. Can be used to investigate phenomena such as exponential growth and decline, stable age structure, zero population growth, demographic momentum, dependency ratios, sex ratios, and marriage squeezes.
