This site explicitly lists evaluation criteria for a variety of teaching materials. Guidelines cover evaluation of audiovisual, CDRom, computer courseware, online courses, videodisks, and web sites. EvaluTech is a searchable database of instructional materials specifically designed for use in kindergarten through grade 12.
This database includes instructional software, educational websites, print and other materials. Only materials that are recommended are included in EvaluTech. Every item evaluated by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's Educational Resources Evaluation and North Carolina Educators adhere to specific evaluation criteria.
This is an outstanding resource to use with inservice and pre-service teachers in a methods course lesson on evaluation of instructional resources.
