    I've taught science in museums: Smithsonian, Franklin Institute, Academy of Natural Sciences as well as for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service. I've written subject curricula for USFWS and science curricula for a Charter School, D.U.E. Season.

    I am interested in LMS and online learning applications. I have managed courses using Moodle, Web CT and Blackboard. I currently work creating online courses for professional developemnt of medical researchers and administrators.

    I have written successful grants to create and operate a science based summer camp. http://kodiak.fws.gov/salmon_camp.htm I have also volunteered as a grant reviewer for NOAA in the B-Wet grant program.

Using a rubric instructors and course designers are able to evaluate how well their own course conforms to best practices for Course Design, Interaction & Collaboration, Assessment and Learner Support. I also am training to become a Peer reviewer for teaching materials for MERLOT.
